In addition to the usual carving and pasta stations,
Kimberley’s offers these different, fun options:
Seafood Martini Bar
Our signature medley of succulent lobster, sea
scallops and Dungeness crab marinated in a zesty vodka citron dressing served in
a martini glass topped with a chilled prawn.
Asian Wok Station
A variety of fresh seasonal
vegetables and each guest’s choice of chicken,
beef or shrimp wok’d to order with Udon noodles
and spicy Asian sauce served in a Chinese to-go
box with chop sticks.
Mashed Potato Sundae Bar
Yukon Gold mashed potatoes served with an assortment
of the following toppings: herbed butter, pesto, sautéed mushrooms, chives, shredded
cheddar cheese, sour cream, smoked bacon, mushroom gravy served in an ice cream sundae cup.
Seafood Station
Poached salmon topped with watercress aioli and capers is
the centerpiece for this decadent array of delectable chilled seafood including: gulf
prawns served with wasabi red sauce, oysters on the half shell with a ginger cilantro soy
dressing, drunken scallops
and snapper ceviche shooters.
Wild Mushroom Bar
Grilled portobello mushrooms carved and served with garlic
toast; sautéed shitake, porcini and cremini with shallots served on grilled bruschetta; and
mushrooms stuffed with spicy Italian sausage.
Risotto Bar
Yes, your dreams have come true. Rich, creamy risotto topped
any way you want it. Sautéed mushrooms, pesto, sun-dried tomatoes, shaved Parmesan, Italian
sausage, tapenade, herbed ricotta, Gorgonzola, Roma tomatoes, marinated artichoke - anything your heart desires.
Fresh Fruit Bouquet and Cheese Station
Fresh fruit kabob flowers arranged in a watermelon vase served
with a brown sugar cane vanilla dipping sauce, an artful array of local and imported cheese,
and a variety of piping hot sausages served
with dipping sauces.
